Minnesota Waterfront Resort Community
This is an extraordinary opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious Heart Programs in the nation. We are seeking a well-trained, board certified Cardiologist to further develop an existing satellite Cardiology program in a beautiful resort community. This particular location is an immaculate, 64-bed hospital whose Cardiology service line has grown from part-time to needing full-time coverage due to growth in patient demand. This opportunity will require someone to be comfortable working independently, and has the desire to establish Cardiac leadership in this community. The Cardiologist hired for this location will experience the full faith and support of perhaps the most comprehensive and renowned Cardiology program in the entire Midwest.
The Practice
- 100% Clinical and Diagnostic Cardiology
- No call required
- Inpatient census will range from as low as one to as many as four
- Ability to read all types of Echocardiograms—Nuclear Stress Tests—Holter Monitors
- Techs are available to conduct the actual studies
- Ability to perform Cardioversions and TEE’s (Some EP work is available but not required)
- Typical schedule of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
- 4 ½ days per week (36 patient hours per week)
- The physicians in this group easily interact with one another across the state for sub-specialty conference calls, advice, weekly grand rounds, tele-medicine and more
- Fully employed by the Cardiology Group
- Six weeks of vacation in year one and increases in years two and three
- Salaried position plus bonus opportunity (the focus is on quality of care more so than production)
- Defined partnership track
