Cardiologist Physician - (Cardiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift
Hospital in south central Pennsylvania seeks a board-certified, non-invasive Cardiologist who can provide coverage in June, possibly through November. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8a-5p with call rotation. Physician must be proficient in nuclear, echo and TEE. Assisting with rounds and consults on the inpatient service will also be required. A cardiologist(locum tenens) is a highly trained physician who studies, treats and diagnoses heart and cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, and heart arrhythmia. Typically, cardiologists make use of medical devices such as electrocardiograms to aid their diagnoses. They also may utilize treatments such as pacemakers or perform major surgeries when more complex or severe circumstances necessitate them.
