Lead Heart Failure Cardiologist - Virginia

Carilion Clinic, a highly respected multi-specialty physician led healthcare organization made up of more than 650 physicians and surgeons in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join one other Boarded Adanced HF/TP Cardiologist to lead the Heart Failure service.

Practice:
  • Oversee the continued development of the Heart Failure Program, create protocols, improve access, and extend the scope of services to identify patients at risk for mortality, hospital readmission, and other adverse events
  • Establish a comprehensive in-patient Heart Failure service including diagnostic, consulting, and treatment services for high risk hospitalized patients
  • Evaluation of patients for VAD support including long term destination therapy
  • Bridge support of transplant patients and coordination of care with neighboring transplant centers
  • You will be joining a team of 27 Cardiologists, 5 Cardiac Surgeons, and 3 Vascular Surgeons
  • Outstanding financial package includes an excellent base salary and bonus (potential income approximate $500,000)
