Government locum tenens Cardiologist physician with ANY state license. Get credentialed in 1 week! A Non-Invasive Cardiologist is needed for the central hospital and multi-specialty clinics of a Tribal Federal IHS Health System with seven satellite clinics, with over 105 providers and 900 employees. This system is south of Tulsa and east of Oklahoma City. This coverage need is one week per month and could be stable and ongoing. This full practice position is in a location with over 50 providers who work full time in primary care FP, IM, Pediatrics, OBGYN, General Surgeons, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Dentists, Podiatrists, and many others. Call is negotiable to suit the candidate. Federal government facility so no specific state license is required. Cardiologist is to work 8am - 4:30pm clinic hours, Monday thru Friday. Office based, non-invasive. Perform various office based cardiology testings: treadmill stress test, chemical stress, interpret various event monitors, and be available during office hours for ER and hospital consults.(minimal)
This is an ongoing coverage need. We prefer someone who can work a 30 day stretch and start quickly but may consider someone for 2 week stints.
Compensation is good and you also get paid housing, airfare, med mal and rental car. Weekly pay by direct deposit. Any clear and active state license accepted.
