Job Description:
Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare 90 miles from Savannah and Macon, is looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to join Meadows Regional as an employed physician (or we will set the ideal candidate up in private practice with a income guarantee). The ideal candidate will receive a substantial signing bonus and a $500,000 per year salary. MRMC has a superb cardiology team and state-of-the art cath lab equipment. Our current operating equipment includes Seimen’s Angiostar Cardiac/DSA digital C-arm, a dedicated nuclear Seimen’s C-cam, a Toshiba 64 slice CTA, electrocardiograms (EKG), exercise and stress testing, and 24 –hour heart monitoring. New cath lab equipment will be purchased when we move to our new hospital currently under construction. Call will be 1:3.
We are in an area identified as having a significant amount of vascular and coronary artery disease. Our current endovascular program is growing fast with the potential to expand. With the new Certificate of Need changes, we will soon be performing elective and acute angioplasty without surgical backup.
