Cardiologist - Interventional - Physician - (Cardiology - Interventional) Locum Tenens
Interventional Cardiologist needed for 1 week per month through December and most likely into 2015. Please contact Staff Care for additional details.
An interventional cardiologist (locum tenens) is an internal medicine physician who has subspecialized in cardiology, which treats disorders of the heart. Interventional cardiology procedures tend to be minimally invasive (or "open") operations that involve catheterization. Interventional cardiologists make use of treatments such as balloon angioplasty, pacemakers and stents to achieve the desired results.
