Anesthesiologist Physician - (Anesthesiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/06/2014Available Shifts: Day Shift
Staff Care seeks an Anesthesiologist for a gastroenterology facility in Eastern Connecticut. The facility performs EGDs, colonoscopies, and panendoscopies. Cases will be performed in two rooms by one physician, with quick turnaround expected. No call is required with this position and overtime is unexpected, as cases normally run from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm daily.
As a critical care specialist responsible for pain management and the maintenance of vital life functions, anesthesiologists(locum tenens) are an integral part of the operating room. Anesthesiologists meet with patients in a preoperative setting to determine the best and safest course of action for pain management during the medical procedure, evaluating the patient's medical history in order to come up with the optimal course of action. During medical procedures, anesthesiologists monitor heart rate, blood pressure and other bodily functions and administer appropriate anesthesia.
Required Qualifications
Board Certification with no malpractice history, no legal matters other than basic traffic violations, and no negative employment history is required.
Provider must have Connecticut license, CSR, and DEA for this assignment.
