--This is a level II Trauma Center
--Need to be BC or truly BE (within the past 2 years of residency)
--Call/overtime:
I think a fair characterization of our workload would be a minimum of 10h/d when not on call. No 24 hour call, but up to 15 hours for D1.
D1 is first call.
should expect to be on call at least once a week and 2-4 w/e call in a month.
--No OB
--No CRNA Supv.
--They will do some Peds.
--Some Burns (they have a burn center as well)
--Some Blocks
--Spinals
--Mostly General Anes. with Bread & Butter but our docs. Need to plan on all types of anes.
