Harris Medical is seeking locum Anesthesiologist for VAMC opportunity in Temple, TX. Prior VA experience a plus. We pay biweekly direct deposit or live check. Harris Medical Associates pays a competitive hourly rate, lodging, airfare, car rental and malpractice. We also help with credentialing.
ASSIGNMENT DATES: September 28, 2015-March 31, 2016.
40 hours a week
No Call
Monday- Friday 7:30-4:00pm
Active State license
Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).BC or BE
Scope of Work.
Services provided under this contract shall be performed on site at CTVHCS, Temple, TX.
Provider shall serve as Anesthesiologist throughout the period of the contract and shall be under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Anesthesia Service.
Provider shall provide Anesthesia services to patients scheduled for surgical procedures in the Operating Room (OR) as well as out of OR procedures including performing consults, making electronic progress notes, scheduling return visits, writing orders for lab and x-ray, prescribing medications, etc. Functioning as a Physician, the provider shall request, as indicated, consultations from specialists and sub specialists on the CTVHCS staff.
. Undertake post-operative care referable to anesthesiology
. Furnish consultative services, evaluations and initial treatment in an organized and properly directed manner consistent with defined national standards and the capability of the medical center
