Mint Physician Staffing is currently seeking qualified physicians for in-house physician coverage at multiple long-term acute care facilities in Houston. Highlights of these locum tenens opportunities are below.
General Details:
-1-3 patient encounters per shift
-Work during your residency, in addition to part-time or full-time work, on holidays and during weekends for supplemental income
-Work as an on-call, on-site house physician in Houston
-Spend more than 8 hours per shift in your own private room with internet access
-Blocked & individual shift schedules available with 12 & 24-hour shifts
-Houston area locations include: Northwest Houston, West Houston, The Med Center, The Heights, Town & Country, and the Bay Area.
Requirements:
-ACLS certified
-Capable of doing intubations in an emergency situation
-Capable of doing central lines in an emergency situation
-Capable of handling a "code" as a lead physician
-Must have Adult Medical/Surgical practice experience
-Ventilator Management skills
-Must have had patient contact in a clinical inpatient setting in the past 12 months
