Lincoln Medical Center, located only 15 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, is a 350 bed level I trauma center and academic affiliate of Weill Cornell University. We are currently accepting applications & referrals for a part-time Allergist.
The Allergy attending will report to the Chair of Medicine and will be responsible for providing care to the patients in the outpatient clinic. The responsibilities will include:
• Assessment and management of patients in the outpatient clinic
• Ensure best practices
• Implement strategies to improve Access
• Participate in initiatives to meet the needs of the community
• Ensure participation in the various initiatives as directed by the Health and Hospitals Corporation
• Foster the development and implementation of practice guidelines
• Attend Departmental meetings
• Ensure compliance with regulations including but not limited to HIPPA, fraud and abuse, Clinicolegal issues, timely completion of medical record
• Ensure appropriate documentation and bill in accordance with PAGNY, hospital and 3rd party guidelines.
The candidate must be certified in qualifying examination of the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology.
