JOB SUMMARY:

Assists Area Administrators in managing day-to-day operations of all assigned centers to ensure fiscal and customer service goal achievement according to Concentra policies, practices and procedures. This person will be responsible for managing their own center as well as up to2 to 3 additional centers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists in ensuring compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and training programs, in all assigned Centers.
    • Assists in monitoring operational and financial performance of all assigned Centers as defined in the budgetary process.
    • Reviews and analyzes operating statements on a monthly basis to ensure center objectives are met.
    • Reviews center operating systems and available operational reports to ensure ongoing process improvement.
    • Provides support to Center Administrators and support staff for compliance with regulations in various functions and processes in accordance with current company and/or other regulatory requirements.
    • Monitors, evaluates and recommends changes to procedures and policies to enhance service.
    • Works with market sales leadership to enhance communication between current and prospective clients and the center, to ensure that customer expectations are met.
    • Coordinates all operational initiatives with all center leadership team members to ensure adequate support of Concentras clinical processes.
    • Assists the Central Business Office to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services rendered.
    • Assists Outcome Assurance to ensure an efficient referral process and proper communication with clients, patients, and specialists.
    • Assists Director of Operations in preparing and maintaining annual budgets for assigned centers.
    • Coordinates involvement of center leadership teams in the budget process in conjunction with other market leadership team members.
    • Interviews, hires, counsels and disciplines according to established policies and in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
    • Assists marketing leadership in monitoring marketplace trends and gathers competitive information, in conjunction with marketing leadership.
    • Facilitates the implementation of and ensures adherence to all corporate policies, procedures and initiatives.
    • Assists the Center Administrator with the hiring, training and development of all support staff.
    • Hires, trains, and develops all Center Administrators for assigned centers.
    • Coordinates center staffing on a daily basis based on budgetary, patient flow, employee illness and other relevant factors.
    • Coordinates vendor selection in order to minimize the cost of out-sourced services.
    • Assists Center and Market Leadership team members with resolution of client issues.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

1 year supervisory experience in a medical office practice.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrated understanding of all CONCENTRA policies and procedures pertaining to center operations, the Central Business Office, Outcome Assurance, Marketing and any administrative functions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the state-specific workers compensation regulations.
