This location is world famous for both its outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty, located in Central Oregon at the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This energetic city with a growing population of over 82,000 has a need for several more Primary Care Physicians. Majestic snow-capped peaks permeate the high-desert skyline making for some of the best weather in Oregon—think sun-drenched days and cool nights—along with endless options for plenty of play time.

The Executive Medical Director is responsible for the direct, effective and inspirational leadership of providers employed by the group. The Executive Medical Director will have a supervising relationship with all providers in the group (e.g. physicians, psychologists and advanced practice providers) and will work in a dyad role with the Director of Clinic Operations in the growth, management and evolution of the group

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required

7-10 years of senior leadership in a clinic operations, integrated delivery system or hospital operations closely related field preferred.

Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: clinical program development, research, medical informatics, leading quality and patient safety initiatives/clinical process improvement, disease management programs and protocols, strategic planning preferred. Knowledge and experience in management of clinical quality and efficiency, planning and evaluation of programs with particular reference to assessment of cost-effectiveness of programs and advocacy and sensitivity to the needs and aspiration of a diverse work force.
