Highland Ridge Hospital of Midvale, Utah is Actively Searching for a Medical Director for their Facility. HRH is a 41 Bed Mixed In and Outpatient facility with 41 beds dedicated to both acute psychiatric care and substance abuse patients. Involvement with outpatient program is minimal. This will be an employed position with HRH and includes Excellent Salary, full benefits (Life, Health, Relo, Signing bonus etc.), Paid vacation and CME. There is a full support system of Psychiatrists, APRNs, and Case Managers, they just need a leader. Minimal Call and clinical duties are involved. This is not a strictly administrative position (60/40 Clinical to admin).


Midvale is a beautiful Suburb of Salt Lake City, and approximately 15 minutes from Down Town.

We perform extensive lab work to identify and manage any medical issues concurrent with psychiatric illness. Our team of physicians, psychiatrists and nurse practitioners understand the intricate relationship between psychiatric and medical disorders, and provide our patients an integrated model of care.

Our mental health program includes individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy, medication evaluation, medication management and a skills building program.

Our Medical Staff Includes: Psychiatrist, Psychiatric APRN’s and Family Practice APRN’s.

Our Nursing Staff Includes: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians.

Our Clinical Staff Includes: Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, And Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors.

Inpatient Psychiatric Care

We designed our intensive inpatient program to first, efficiently and effectively evaluate and stabilize our clients. Once our medical team has stabilized our client, we then work to help them acquire the coping skills they need in order to step down to lower levels of care. Our goal is to help each of our clients achieve the highest possible levels of functionality in the personal, interpersonal and occupational areas of their lives.
