Vice President/Medical Director of Medical Group Transformation Opportunity (Cincinnati, OH)->Mgmt Consulting Company/$250-$275k/Bonus!
Seeking a Vice President/Medical Director of Medical Group Transformation to join a well-establishing and rapidly growing medical management consultant company located in the Cincinnati area of OH.
Position will report to the CEO of the Company.
The Company successfully assists medical groups in the following ways: clinical outcomes improvement, success in value agreements, financial performance, physician leadership and change management.
***The Position***
Lead the Company team in engagements with client medical groups (will serve as the "face" of the Company and promote Company's "brand" - completely focused on patient care and protocol)
Work specifically with senior leadership and management teams within client medical groups and their sponsoring health systems
Participate in the development of new areas of expertise in medical group transformation
Represent the Company in sales presentations and follow-up discussions with prospective client organizations.
Participate in other high priority projects related to client medical groups.
***Candidate Requirements***
Only physician candidates are being considered.
Position is based in Cincinnati, OH area and does require extensive travel for client purposes
Experience as hospital administrator or physician leader (Chief Medical Director type role or a CMO Executive with medical groups)
STRONG background in leadership within an established medical/physician group (10+ physicians)
Must have had lead role in the development of treatment processes as well as the business aspect
Must have executive presence
Must have strong experience in communicating with physicians and “C Suite” level health system and medical group leaders
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be very comfortable with public speaking
Must be highly familiar with the healthcare environment, particularly medical groups
Must possess strong knowledge and experience with quality theory, strategy and tactical planning
Must be able to successfully engage senior health system leadership and facilitate medical group leadership teams to better outcomes
Must be able to convey the theoretical level discussion about volume to value and familiarity with at least some of the detailed level issues related to the volume to value transition
Project management expertise preferred
Experience in consultative selling preferred

Base Salary: $250k-$275k, DOE
Bonus Potential: $25k
