Wound Care Medical Director Needed in Carrollton, Georgia

Tanner Health System-Tanner Advanced Wound Center in Carrollton, GA is seeking a BC/BE Wound Care Medical Director who would be able to perform all surgeries involving Wound Care.

• The clinic is owned by Tanner Health System. This is an employed opportunity with the management firm that runs Tanner Advanced Wound Center.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Tanner Advanced Wound Center offers leading-edge treatments and technology to aggressively manage wounds and ensure that they heal quickly and completely. Our medical staff is specially trained in all types of wound care.
o Tanner Advanced Wound Center treats these common wounds: diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, vasculitic ulcers, surgical wounds, complex soft tissue wounds, diabetic foot ulcers and infected wounds.
o Hyperbaric oxygen therapy provides specialized care for an even broader range of wounds and conditions such as: diabetic foot ulcers, refractory osteomyelitis, Osteoradionecrosis, soft tissue radionecrosis, compromised skin grafts/flaps
• Tanner Health System is a nonprofit regional health system serving a nine-county area of west Georgia and east Alabama. Tanner’s medical staff is comprised of more than 300 physicians representing 34 unique medical specialties.
o Tanner facilities include the 201-bed acute care Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, the 40-bed acute care Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, the 25-bed critical access Higgins General Hospital in Bremen and the 52-bed behavioral health facility Willowbrooke at Tanner in Villa Rica.
