Job Description:
1.) Internal Medicine Faculty Position (Outpatient + 1 month/yr Inpatient Service)
-Faculty position within the Montefiore Department of Medicine
- Majority of time spent as preceptor for IM residents and Med students within an outpatient community health setting
-1 month of Inpatient Service per calendar yr (remainder of yr spent in outpatient clinical setting)
- Work with a team of clinical educators to educate the Residents and Medical Students here at Montefiore.
2.) Full Time/ Permanent Position
- Monday- Friday (days) with one evening shift per week (or less) during 11months of outpatient clinical work
- 1 month of IP service annually (2 week shifts)
3.) Compensation
- Base Salary of $130k guaranteed (additional IP collections/ bonus from $10-15k)
- Full Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental along with long-term and short-term disability)
- Retirement- Montefiore contributes 10% of base salary (regardless of your personal contribution) annually after 1yr
- FQHC Centers qualify for loan repayment up to $20k/ yr
