• We are looking to recruit (1) OPH that has an interest in Glaucoma and Cataract surgery.
• Dr. Arinella, MD is retiring and needs a physician to take over his practice.
• We are looking for a motivated OPH who is looking to work closely with the Dr. Williams and are 3 other Optometrists to take care of big need within our community.
• The office is located in Worcester, MA which is 10 minutes from the one hospital the OPH’s cover.
• We have a staff of 22 employees in the clinic and 11 employees in the optical shop.
• There are 9 exam rooms in the clinic.
• The billing office is located right next to clinic. – (they also bill for 2 other OPH clinics)
• In the office where billing is we also have a Laser room, OCT, fundus camera, etc.……
• Office hours: The OPH can be able to set their own schedule – (1) early, (1) late day during the week
o Mon. – Thur. = 9a to 5p
o Fri. = 8a to 4p
o Sat. = 9a to 1p
• Between the 2 OPH’s and 3 Optometrists our clinic see on average 150-170 patients a day
• The optical shop sees 65 – 75 patients a day
• Currently the clinic is booked out 5 months in advance for complicated surgeries and 3 months for regular cases.
• Dr. Williams is so booked out that he is staying 3 nights a week till 8:00p to keep up with cataract surgeries.
• Call: 1:10 weeks – (You are part of a call group that covers 1 hospital)
