Opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team on a PRN basis at Western New York Immediate Care - Orchard Park in Orchard Park, New York. In addition to diagnoses and treatment of most non-life threatening injuries and illnesses in adults and children, this urgent care center provides diagnostic and laboratory tests, vaccinations, physicals, and occupational medicine services. Our facilities include a private registration area, triage, treatment and procedure rooms, a CLIA-certified laboratory and digital diagnostic imaging. For follow-up care, patients are directed to their primary care physicians. who receive an electronic record on each of their patients within 24 hours of the patients' visits to Western New York or Rochester Immediate Care. Our clinical team includes Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, Internists, and Family Practitioners, and facility hours are typically from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and from 9am to 8pm on weekends. Experienced and certified APCs work alongside our physicians. Our immediate care centers provide acute illness and injury care when patients don’t want to spend hours in a hospital ED, and customer service is the essence of our organization. We recognize that the satisfaction and care of our patients takes precedence over everything else, and we strive to create an environment and experience that exceeds expectations. Qualified APC candidates will have Family Practice and Urgent Care experience, and active New York license to practice, Master’s Level Certification, and current ACLS and PALS certifications.
Just 20 minutes southeast of downtown Buffalo, Orchard Park is an upscale community that combines quiet neighborhoods, close-knit residents, excellent schools, and extensive retail, commercial, and industrial zones with easy access to the NYS Thruway system. The village offers access to numerous educational institutions, diverse parks and other recreational facilities, Lake Erie, Niagara Falls, and the Canadian border.
