Are you looking for a full-time Urgent Care position in Newport Beach and/or Brea, CA (in Orange County of Southern California)? Experience with Standard Office Based Procedures is Required
Digital x-ray and CLIA waived labs available
Experience with All Ages Preferred
Training/experience/interest in Occupational Medicine preferred
Work Comp patients by appointment all others are walk ins
Pleasant Work Environment and Experienced Office Staff

JOB SUMMARY:
Full time position
Flexible schedule with some nights and some weekends required.
Subject to the medical protocols established by the Medical Director.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with clinic medical model.
Document all clinical care efficiently and completely in the electronic Medical Records system prior to the end of every shift.
Call back and follow up on with clinic patients on lab and x-ray results.
Complete all work comp paperwork in the required timeframe.

Required Skills
JOB-RELATED SKILLS:
Basic computer skills and preferably some experience with electronic health records.
Excellent communication skills.
Superior customer service and "bed side manner" skills.
Ability to work in a team environment that is dedicated to excellent patient care.

Required Experience
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
Current licensure in the State of California
Current DEA license

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Preferred experience in primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care or emergency medicine setting.


Open 7 days a week. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m
