• Great opportunity for an experienced physician assistant seeking to serve patients of all ages in a walk-in clinic/urgent care setting.
• Clinic hours of operation are Monday – Sunday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.; holidays 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Advanced Practitioner shifts are Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to cover expanded hours as needed.
• Three to five years of experience is preferable. New graduates with solid clinical experience will also be considered.
• The advanced practice provider should be able to function autonomously, possess ability to assess acuity of patients, and must be board certified and licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Some scheduled Occupational Health pre-placement physicals; DOT Medical Examiner Certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Provider will be working with an on-site physician who will be available for consultation.
• The urgent care/walk-in clinic is attached to OSF Medical Group, a part of OSF HealthCare, the premier primary care medical group of the Ottawa area with a team of 20 physicians, nurse practitioners and 5 locations. Specialties include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology, Audiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics and specialty clinics in Pulmonology and Rheumatology. Many in-office services including lab drawing center, general radiology, mammography and occupational health services.

• OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, a 99-bed acute care facility has been dedicated to providing efficient and quality health care to the Ottawa community since 1895. Located at 1100 East Norris Drive, OSF Saint Elizabeth provides a full range of services, including inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care, emergency care, pre-natal and post-partum care, physical therapy, behavioral health services, home health and hospice care.
