Beautiful Salem Oregon! Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity! Take your career to the next level!
As the incoming Physician Assistant, you’ll join a growing program in beautiful Salem, Oregon working 4 days per week plus call. There is also the opportunity to be the Lead CTS PA for those interested. This position is primarily responsible for pre-operative patient evaluations, H&P’s with documentation, first assistant in the operating room, endoscopic vein harvesting, rounding on inpatients in the ICU and wards, discharge summaries, and call.
Ideal candidates will have CT or CV Surgery experience, however candidates with General Surgery experience and a strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in Cardiothoracic Surgery will also be considered. New grads with applicable rotations may be considered. To be considered for the Lead Surgical Physician Assistant position you must have at least 1 year of prior supervisory experience and at least 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery, with a desire to direct fellow PA’s and continuously improve the practice alongside the physicians.
Practice is offering an excellent compensation package, with additional stipends for the leadership position, and full benefits.
