Bryan has grown together with the more notable College Station, home to Texas A&M University, the fourth largest university in the country with 45,000 students. The town has a few historic districts, a more attractive setting and more outdoor recreation opportunities than most Texas towns. Not surprisingly, educational attainment is high. Like most Texas towns and maybe more than most, the area has a good balance of features, with a low cost of living, very affordable housing, a strong economy, a pleasant small-town feel, and plenty to do.
