Advantage Locums is looking for 1-2 EXPERIENCED locums cardiac surgery advanced practitioner (PA or PA) for our client located Springfield, Massachusetts who has strong skills in critical care (Cardiac ICU) and telemetry to manage caseload of post-op cardiovascular patients, write orders, discharge summaries, coordinate care, manage vents. Line insertion ability a plus. Already MA licensed preferred, ACLS, leadership capability a plus.
• This position is NOT in the OR. No new grads.
• Looking for 1-2 Advanced Practitioners (PA or PA)
• Shift Needs are 7am - 7:30pm and/or 7pm - 7:30am including weekends, 3-4 shifts per week.
• Anticipated Start Date: 3/17/2014
• 10-18 patient encounters per shift
• In-house call
• End Date: 12/1/2014
*Start & end dates above are not firm but will be based on when locums is identified, able to start & dept needs at that time.
• Prior to start: In addition to obtaining privileges (approx 6-9 week process), facility requires locums practitioner to perform background check within 3 months of start, requires Locums/Vendor to adhere to health clearance requirements & provide documentation of immunizations, titers, recent drug screen results & adhere to 2 step PPD testing, etc...for health clearance by our Occupational Health office.
Along with competitive compensation, Advantage will provide travel and lodging while on assignment. Mal practice will also be included
