We are looking for either an NP or PA,(with Psych/Mental Health experience or will consider an BC Adult Psychiatry Physician to provide coverage for at least three months or longer in northeast North Carolina. Client be willing to bring on candidate permanently if all goes well.
Both Inpatient & Outpatient
40 hour schedule – days can vary during the week
Established practice with 3 existing physicians
Call Schedule 1:4
Weekends Required
Remain on-site while on call
BLS Required
Expected to serve as back up in the ER
Average Total Inpatient Census: 25-26 Geropsych and Adult Psych
Average # of patients per day: 20-24
Average # of admissions/day: 5
Average # admissions/night: 1-2
No ICU Duties
Housing and travel will be provided to non-local candidate. We also cover malpractice insurance.
