Experienced Inpatient Psychiatric Physician Assistant Opportunity (Southern Region, OR)->Great Pay & Benefits!
Seeking experienced Inpatient Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our behavioral health team at a regional referral hospital located in the Southern Region of OR.
***The Position***
Patient Load (Weekday Shift): 8 established inpatient pts
Patient Load (Weekend Shift): 10 established inpatient pts.
All inpatient pts have a Psychiatrist as the primary attending, as back-up, who will co-sign notes.
Home Call: 5 PM -7 AM, provide call coverage, answering questions on patients in house and providing admitting orders for new patients.
Call Back-Up: There will be Psychiatry back-up for out of the scope of practice questions. Admitting psychiatrist reviews all admitting orders the next day.
Outpatient work: Midlevel would see pts alone and have psychiatrist available to review cases as needed.
***Candidate Requirements***
Eligible for OR PA License
Prefer Psych-certified
BLS required
Preferred Experience: 2+ years of Psychiatry/Mental Health
Client will also consider a Physician Assistant with some Psychiatry experience and/or Mental Health certification.
