A client in North Carolina is in search of a psychiatric physician assistant to cover both an adult and geriatric unit. A majority of the cases seen are dual diagnosis, ETIs, some geriatric cases, and general psychiatry. There are a total of 4-5 admissions per day and 4-5 discharges. Provider will be responsible for the psychiatric portion of the history and physical. The average patient volume in the adult unit is 17 patients per day and 7 patients per day in the geriatric unit. The average length of stay is 8-11 days.
