Experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistant Opportunity (Seattle Area, WA)->New Grads Apply!/Great Pay & Benefits!
Seeking experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join a very strong and expanding practice located in the Seattle area in WA.
The group has had a number of retirements in the last 3 years, so they have openings for physicians and PAs/NPs to help with patient demand.
***The Practice***
Terrific staff and a joyful work environment
Group is physician-owned (20/25 FM docs are shareholders) and independent
Participate in many ACO products through collaboration
PA voice is heard! Two (2) all-provider group meetings per month as they like to collaborate
Payer Mix: ~75% commercial insurance; balance is mostly Medicare with some Medicaid and L&I.
Patient Mix: Reflects the community around them.
EMR: GE Centricity (with in-house IT support staff!)
***The Position***
Full-time, employed position
Works together with primary care providers to confirm diagnosis and stabilize treatment for patients’ mental health needs.
Refers out to therapists for longer term talk therapy.
Provides in-house consults for primary care
Coordinates care for a wide range of conditions
Practice does not take on mental health patients who are not already established with primary care at the practice.
***Candidate Requirements***
Eligible for WA PA License
MUST have earned a Physician Assistant Psychiatry CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualifications)
Client is considering new PA grads with Psych CAQ!
***Compensation & Benefits***
Competitive Salary (paid hourly)
New Grads: ~$46/hour
More experienced PAs: $50-$54/hour
Client will pay for EMR Training & Orientation
Productivity Bonus Option: If candidate is able to cover their costs (with MA, overhead, and insurance), practice will consider a productivity bonus
