Heartland Behavioral Health Services is recruiting a Physician Assistant to join this outstanding opportunity. We have both an acute short term crisis stabilization side of the hospital and a residential longer-term side of the hospital with very specialized programming catered to each individual child that comes to us. We are nestled on 50 secluded acres and serve as a training site for residency programs.
Duties include admission psychiatric evaluations, H&Ps and rounding on patients on the acute inpatient unit. Typical caseload would average between 10-12 patients a day. You will be working with a professional, competent, compassionate staff consisting of 3 psychiatrists and a CPA. This is an employed position working M-F with no weekend call. We offer a strong financial package which includes a salary, full benefits, CME and relocation.
Heartland Behavioral Services is a children’s behavioral health hospital located about an hour outside of Kansas City.
