Level II Trauma Center is currently seeking qualified Advanced Practitioners for their Emergency Medicine program. The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners will work in the main ED or Prompt Care on 10 hour shifts. Responsibilities include efficiently seeing patients in the ED with an annual volume of approximately 58,000 visits per year and an average admission rate of 15%.

A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
