Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 03/10/2014Available Shifts: 40 Hours/Week
Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant locum tenens opportunity with a Federally Qualified Health Center that is centered around helping one another. This clinic serves an important role in the community - serving a mix of Medicaid patients and those without insurance. A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
