Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/27/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed in a New York correctional facility starting in October ongoing. This is a 1-3 days per month assignment 8 hour day. The provider must be have experience setting IV's.
A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant needed - January - ongoing. 1 -3 x Days per month 8a-3:30p. The locum will work on the client's mobile unit visiting New York Correctional facilities. Type of cases seen: Primary Care capacity to insert Iv's and be on premises while RAD Tech runs CT Scan, and be available to the staff incase the patient has an allergic reaction to the Dye's used. Spanish speaking providers welcome (not required).
