Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners needed in a New York City Hospital for a job opportunity starting in July. This job offers 12 hour shifts days & Nights 3 days a week. The Provider must be well-versed in an inpatient setting.
A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
Required Qualifications
NY Licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants needed - 07/01 - 10/02 (May Extend) - 12 hour shifts days and nights, 3 days a week - Patients Seen: Adult & Geriatric, 100% Scheduled, and EMR charting. Typical Cases: No special procedures required, only administration of blood and blood products, discharge orders, diagnostics, etc. We can look at anyone who will work at least 8 shifts a month. We would also look at weekends only coverage.
