Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Air Force is looking for a qualified and committed Physician Assistant to assist with services for the troops and their families at Holloman AFB near Alamogordo. The provider will need to be NCCPA certified and current. The Physician Assistant will need to have any current and unrestricted state license. The provider will need to have a current BLS thru the American Heart Association, as well as a non-exempt and fee paid DEA and ACLS. Will be working in an outpatient setting from 730-430 on a Monday thru Friday schedule. Will be seeing all ages. Should expect to see 12-20 patients per day. But more than likely the number will be on the low end. This is a one year contract and the facility is looking for a provider that will commit to no less than 6 months of service.
A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
