Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Washington, DC area clinic is seeking a Locum Tenens Physician Assistant to provide coverage beginning early June and continuing at least through July. The schedule will be 3 days per week, with potential for additional days / hours. This is an outpatient only setting; Patient volume will be 3-4 patients / hour - ages 13 and up. . Must be comfortable using EHR, the site is using eClinicalWorks. Local candidates are preferred, but travel and lodging will be considered. A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
