Physicians Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/28/2013Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Physician Assistant for Hospitalist department needed in northern North Carolina starting May 28 ongoing. Schedule will be 7 on 7 off with 12 hour shifts Tuesday-Monday. There will be no call. Average number of patients seen per day is 43. Give Staff Care a call today to learn more!
A physicians assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
