Career Description
Whether assigned to a large medical center or a remote forward-operating base where you\'re the only medical officer on site, as an Air Force Physician Assistant, you\'ll be challenged to your full potential. One day you could be working on base with first-class equipment, and the next you could be in a third-world country on a humanitarian mission with not much more than you can carry in a Humvee. No matter where you are, your job will always be the same — provide the best medical care possible.
Career Tasks
•Exercise autonomy in medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services
•Provide a clinical role primarily in family practice, with fellowship opportunities in areas such as orthopedics and emergency medicine
•Deploy to provide medical expertise in wartime, humanitarian and peacekeeping missions
•Practice quality patient care, clinical teaching, patient education, research and leadership activities
Requirements:
THIS IS AN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY OFFICER POSITION WITH MULTIPLE LOCATIONS WORLDWIDE.
