• Seeking a Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with our newest Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Primary responsibility is to provide service continuity in the outpatient office setting including preoperative and postoperative care as well as management of routine orthopedic services.
• Treat general sports medicine injuries, fractures and prepare more complicated patients and cases for orthopedic surgeons.
• Opportunity to first assist in surgery.
• Previous Orthopedic Surgery experience required.
• OSF Medical Group is a comprehensive, integrated network of health care facilities, services, physicians and employees in Illinois and Michigan. It includes a multi-specialty group of more than 600 member physicians and nearly 300 advanced practitioners in more than 90 locations throughout Illinois.
• OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center has 99 Medicare certified beds and recently completed building a $13 million addition.
• Ottawa, a town of 18,000 is located in north central Illinois. It’s also known as the “Town of Two Rivers” where the scenic Fox River flows into the Illinois River and sets the pace for the relaxed and secure quality of life in the community. The community has a family-oriented environment and boasts excellent public and parochial schools with a high level of parental involvement. The economic base is diversified in both light industry and agriculture.
