Advantage Locums is currently looking for a Physician Asst. to provide Locums coverage in the Orthos/Spine Department at UCSF in San Francisco, CA.
Ortho/Spine PA needed at UCSF
• Anticipated start date: August (following medical staff office clearance, 2-3months credentialing process)
• Length of Assignment: 3 months with a possibility of extension
• Active CA license & DEA
• Certified by the NCCPA
• Active BLS
• 40hours per week, 8 hr days, Monday –Friday
• EPIC EMR
• Preferred skill/experience: Experience and training in Ortho/Spine
• This position may provide care in the ambulatory care clinic and hospital setting.
- Will the PA strictly be working in an ambulatory clinic setting? 90% in clinic; 10% in surgery. Can be a bit flexible with this in terms of 100% clinic if someone really does not like being in surgery.
- Will the PA be rounding on patients, scrubbing and providing first assist? Minimal - 10% assisting. We have an IP PA that rounds on the patients.
- Will you consider a 6 month assignment duration? Yes
NICU PA needed in San Francisco & Portland!!
Advantage Locums is currently looking for a Physician Assistant to provide Locums coverage in the Neonatal Department at UCSF in San Francisco, CA. The assignment will start off as 3 months, but with strong possibility of being extended up through a total of 9 months.
• Anticipated start date: August 2015 for 3 months with a possibility of extension
• Work Schedule: Rotating days/nights, weekends, 10 or 12 hour shifts, 36 hrs per week
• Location: UCSF Mission Bay
• 2-3 month credentialing process
• Requirements:
o Active CA PA license
o Minimum of 2 yrs level III NICU experience
o Active CPR, NRP, CA Furnishing license is highly preferred.
Hourly rate is negotiable and will be based on experience. Travel and lodging will be provided. Mal practice will also be included.
