Vidant Radiation Oncology and The Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center (LJCC), located in Greenville, North Carolina are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Radiation Oncology focus to join its Radiation Oncology Outpatient Clinic Team at Vidant Medical Center. Oncology experience is preferred.

Job Highlights include:

Employment by Vidant Medical Group
Outpatient clinical primary role focused on follow up for radiation oncology patients
Additional responsibilities will include inpatient coverage with H&P consults, supporting OR cases, and building survivorship programs for radiation oncology patients
Comprehensive Cancer Center including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, established hematology oncology fellowship program, and patient navigators
State-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife and a full spectrum of radiology services. (Adding a True Beam Linear Accelerator by end of 2016.)
Hospital privileges at Vidant Medical Center, a level 1 trauma, 909 bed center
Referral network includes 29 county area with a population of 1.4 million people
Cancer Center expansion is underway for a 6-story cancer tower, to be completed in March 2018, will include 96 Inpatient rooms, 60 infusion areas, 60 multidisciplinary clinics, 4 Linear Accelerators, Cyber Knife, Gamma Knife and patient resource tools
Only ACoS accredited Academic Comprehensive Cancer Center (ACAD) in Eastern North Carolina
