Premier Pacific Northwest Academic Institution | Seeking Advanced Practice Providers | New Cardiothoracic ICU

Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s leading academic search firm, invites you to consider an opportunity with a prestigious academic institution in the Pacific Northwest to join a new Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. This is an opportunity to be part of a team of fellowship trained Nurse Practitioners and PAs at a highly ranked medical center that is also home to one of the Top 10 medical schools in the country.

We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers who are trained and certified in the following areas: acute care, cardiology, critical care, or cardiothoracic surgery. Candidates with sufficient experience as an APP in any of these settings will be highly preferred. APPs with interest in academic responsibilities will be of special interest as well.

The APPs will enjoy a faculty appointment within the Department of Surgery along with the following:
  • A new, state-of-the-art 20-24 bed Cardiothoracic ICU that just opened in March of 2016
  • Extremely competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including relocation assistance
  • A blocked 3 on, 4 off schedule with only 10-13 shifts per month required
  • Opportunity to perform ICU and acute care procedures
  • Participate in the education of nursing staff and surgical residents
  • Be a part of a well-rounded and supportive team
  • Work in a high acuity environment with one of the only heart and lung transplant programs in the region
