Physician Assistant
CTMC, MEDDAC, Fort Drum, NY
Physician Assistant needed to provide services the Conner Troop Medical Clinic (CTMC) – Fort Drum, NY. This is a full-time contract position. Hours of performance will be from 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess and maintain certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Shall hold a current state medical license. This license does not have to be from the state in which the family practice physician is practicing under this contract. The license must be granted by the recognized licensing agency of the state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. The license shall be unencumbered and renewed annually.
• Possess a current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of two year’s experience within the past five years in private practice or a medical treatment facility practicing as a Physician Assistant in a family practice environment. The quality of performance will be confirmed by both the offeror’s credential packet and letters of reference submitted on behalf of the offeror from current/previous clinical supervisors and/or residency directors and peers/colleagues.
