Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) wanted for a position with a fast growing, privately owned, outpatient Gastroenterology (GI) practice in New Haven, Connecticut. Both new graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply. This position is available immediately.
The Physician Assistant (PA) will:
1) Provide initial patient consults and follow-ups alongside Physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers in an outpatient setting.
2) Work for a period of 3 work weeks in the outpatient office. In the 4th week, the PA or APRN will work in an inpatient setting (also M-F, 8am-5pm), rounding on Gastroenterology (GI) patients.
Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits:
- Monday through Friday (8am-5pm)
- Rotating call schedule as follows: The PA will be asked to take call (from their home) every 8th night and will work every 8th weekend (Inpatient setting). After such weekends, the provider may take off the following Monday without expending their PTO days.
- Providers are paid an additional $3,000/year for their call services.
