Physician Assistants & Physician Asst. needed in California
Advantage Locums is need of Physician Assistants and Physician Asst. for our client in Central California. The client has six different clinics that need family medicine PA providers and is opening a new outpatient clinic about 30 miles south of Visalia. The client has 11 other clinics that serve the area.
• Active CA license & DEA
• Family Medicine PA
• Prefer providers that speak Spanish
• Locum & Permanent positions
• Interested in both full & part time availability
• Competitive Compensation, travel and lodging will also be provided, along with mal practice.
About the client:
Our patients are from all “walks of life,” and since 1976 have been the health home for individuals and families that have lacked access to any other source of health care, because of financial, linguistic, cultural, geographic or transportation barriers. Overall, 75 percent of our patients are of Hispanic origin and 42 percent speak a language other than English. Most are families, with 78 percent of them living below 100 percent federal poverty line. The majority are young and female. A significant portion of our patients receive Medi-Cal; 25 percent have no insurance and care is provided to patients on a sliding fee scale basis.
