MedCare Staffing is seeking either a Physician Assistant for locums coverage at a FCI Near New York City. Coverage will begin as soon as security clearance is verified. Position is set to last for 4 months with an option of an extra 4 month extension.
Monday through Friday 7:30am-4pm.
Scope of Practice: Provider must be able to perform basic patient evaluations, determine treatment plans, evaluate complex patient cases, and work with the Clinical Director to ensure high quality patient care. Diagnostic testing must be ordered properly and proper prescribing methods must be used with a DEA.
Requirements: Any active state license and a BLS/ACLS certification. An active DEA and at least 2 years of clinical experience is also needed.
