MedCare Staffing is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant for a locums position in a Federal Correctional Institution near Sacramento, CA. Coverage begins ASAP and will last until 09/30/2014 with the option to extend for another year.
Monday through Friday 7a-3p
Scope of Practice:The provider will take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays. PA will also diagnose, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications to patients and attend to medical emergencies.
Requirements: Must have a degree/certification and an active DEA. Also must have BLS certification and list any state licenses.
