Physician Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
Dates: Nov - Jan
Schedule/Call: 12 hr day/night rotation (more nights)
Procedures: Will have a list but have hospitalist and ed docs as backup
Patients/day: 8-12 ppd and night
Client Rates: 135
Privileging Time: 6-8 weeks
Other Info: Need to have good judgment and know when to bring in physician
Must be experienced in Hospital Medicine/ Critical Care


A physician assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
