Major Duties/Responsibilities ~ Function in the capacity as a float mid-level provider within Primary Care & Consultative Medicine, to include coverage in the following areas: Primary Care Out-Patient, Emergency Department, Medical In-Patient, and/or the Community Living Center, for providing medical care to the patients in those areas. ~ Duties include, but are not limited to, history taking, physical examinations, ordering appropriate labs and diagnostic tests, needed consultations, and formulation of treatment plans. ~ Documentation is via an electronic record. ~ Prescriptions are according to guidelines of the VA formulary. ~ Other duties as assigned.
