Physician Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
The Lompoc Federal Correction facility is looking for (2) Physician Assistants. Provider must be Certified to practice in the State of CA, DEA, BLS and ACLS, and EMR experience. Provider will be seeing the inmate male population for primary care, routine, and preventative check-ups. This position will need to feel comfortable taking care of inmates in an emergency situation and handling basic minor procedures. Provider will see about 12-15 patients a day.
Monday - Friday 7:30a-4:00p. (No call or weekends required. Please note schedule may change based off of lock-downs or other facility reasons.)


A physician assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
