Physician Assistant - (PA) Locum Tenens
Locums Surgery Physician Assistant is needed at a facility In Maine to help with a vacancy. PA will work 3 days per week; 13 hour shifts plus one 14 hour shift. Must have DEA. Please call Staff Care for more information.
A physician assistant (PA)(locum tenens) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified, MA license, and General Surgery background. State / Federal DEA required
Preferred Qualifications
Comfortable working in operating room, emergency room, and floor during shift.
